This was a personal photography project that I began in 2001 and continued through 2004. I tell myself that it will never be complete. My goal was to document and archive the stories of the Delta Blues musicians – their music and their cultural legacy through photographic environmental portraits and videos interviews.
Sadly many of the musicians that I photographed and interviewed have passed away, including Sam Carr who died September 21, 2009.
